The structure 2-hydroxy-6-methoxy-4-methyl-phenyl 3-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl ether (1) proposed for the fungal metabolite LL-VI25α has been revised to 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methylphenyl 3-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl ether(2); this has been confirmed by synthesis.
