Lewis acid promoted terminal-to-bridge carbonyl shift in [(π-C5H5)Ru(CO)2]2

Abstract

Solution i.r. spectra demonstrate that in the presence of AIR3 the non-bridged form of [(π-C5H5)Ru-(CO)2]2 is converted into CO-bridged adducts containing AIR3 co-ordinated to the oxygen(s) of the bridging carbonyls.
