Sorption and desorption in non-circular cylinders

Abstract

The sorption-desorption properties of cylinders with polygonal and rectangular cross-sections are examined. Emphasis is placed on the errors which might be incurred by the use of the commonly-adopted circular-cylinder assumption in the pore size distribution analysis of such materials.
