OOO-Trialkyl phosphorothioates undergo thermal isomerization to the OOS-trialkyl phosphorothioates followed by decomposition to yield the dialkyl sulphides. The intermediacy of the OOS-trialkyl phosphorothioates has been shown by spectral observation and independent synthesis.
