Crystal structure of silver polyetherin A
Abstract
The crystal structure of silver polyetherin A, C40H67O11Ag, has been determined by three-dimensional X-ray diffraction methods. The crystals are orthorhombic, a= 23·762, b= 14·591, c= 12·080 Å, Z= 4, space group, P212121. The structure was solved by heavy-atom and three-dimensional Fourier methods, and refined by least-squares calculations. The final R value over 2066 independent reflexions was 0·065. The absolute configuration was determined by the anomalous dispersion method.
