Crystal and molecular structure of the monophenylsulphanuric fluoride trimer (3,5-difluoro-1,3,5-trioxo-1-phenylcyclotriazathiane)
Abstract
An X-ray crystallographic examination of the monophenylsulphanuric fluoride molecule, S3N3O3F2Ph, shows that the phenyl group is trans to the two fluorine atoms. The crystals of S3N3O3F2Ph are triclinic, with a= 7·59(2), b= 8·25(3), c= 9·96(3)Å, α= 109·6(1), β= 108·0(2), and γ= 93·3(2)°, space group is P
, and Z= 2. The structure has been refined to R 0·12 on the intensities of 1187 reflections collected photographically.
