Mössbauer parameters and i.r. data are reported for α- and β- TeO3, TeO2, cubic and monoclinic Te(OH)6, Na2TeO4, Na2TeO3, and Na2H4TeO6. Both the X-ray powder patterns diagrams and the i.r. absorption spectrum exclude a tetrahedral TeO4 in Na2TeO4.
