Phosphorus–nitrogen compounds. Part XXIX. Compound formation between chloroisopropylaminocyclotriphosphazatrienes
Abstract
A pseudo-trichlorotrisisopropylaminocyclotriphosphazatriene, m.p. 80–81°, and a pseudo-dichlorotetrakisiso-propylaminocyclotriphosphazatriene, m.p. 104°, are identified as the 1 : 1 molecular adducts 2,2 : 4,4,6,6-N3P3Cl2(NHPri)4,N3P3Cl4(NHPri)2 and 2,2 : 4,4,6,6-N3P3Cl2(NHPri)4,2,4 : 2,4,6,6-N3P3Cl2(NHPri)4 respectively. A second monohydrochloride, 2,2 : 4,4,6,6-N3P3Cl2(NHPri)4,HCl, m.p. 220–225°, and a liquid dihydrochloride, 2,2,4,4 : 6,6-N3P3Cl4(NHPri)2,2HCl, have been prepared.
