Mass spectra of derivatives of mopanol and related C16 flavonoids

Abstract

The mass spectra of derivatives of mopanol and related C16 flavonoids have been recorded. Apart from the anticipated retro-Diels-Alder fragmentation, loss of water and carbon monoxide occurs. A possible mode of fragmentation is suggested.
