Stereoisomers of pyridine-2-carbaldehyde 2-pyridylhydrazone and their behaviour as chelating agents

Abstract

The geometrical isomers of pyridine-2-carbaldehyde 2-pyridylhydrazone have been characterized by chromatography, u.v., i.r., and n.m.r. spectroscopy, and differences in their behaviour as chelating agents towards metals.
