Slow inversion in aziridines: investigation of invertomer ratios

Abstract

Invertomer ratios in aziridines (III–VI; a–d), conveniently measured at room temperature by n.m.r., reveal an unexpected attraction between heterocycle and ester which increases with the size of the latter.
