The crystal structure of [Ni(β-picoline)2(NO2)2]3·C6H6: a linear trimer with a novel nitrite bridge

Abstract

The compound [Ni(β-picoline)2(NO2)2]3·C6H6 is a linear trimer containing three different types of nitrite co-ordination-chelate, Ni–[graphic omitted]–O–Ni bridges, and Ni–[graphic omitted]–Ni bridges.
