Liquid density and excess volume of light hydrocarbon mixtures at –165°C

Abstract

Experimental liquid densities of methane, ethane, propane, of binary mixtures containing methane, ethane, propane, and n-butane, and of ternary mixtures of methane, ethane and propane are reported at –165°C. The experimental results show the principle of congruence to be invalid for the mixtures investigated.
