The spectrophotometric determination of titanium in iron and steel with diantipyrylmethane
Abstract
The use of diantipyrylmethane as a spectrophotometric reagent for the determination of titanium in iron and steel has been investigated. A rapid method is suggested in which the reagent, which permits the determination of titanium in a wide range of iron and steels, is used. Results are given for the analysis of stainless, high speed and mild steels, and cast irons.
