Rearrangement products of 1-ethoxyvinyl esters of keto-acids

Abstract

The rearrangement products of the 1-ethoxyvinyl esters of acetoacetic acid and of laevulinic acid have been shown to be dehydroacetic acid and the ethyl ester of γ-carboxymethyl-γ-valerolactone, respectively.
