An infrared study of some chromium(III) bis(ethylenediamine) complexes

Abstract

The infrared spectra of eleven chromium(III) bis(ethylenediamine) complexes are reported. Characteristic differences between the spectra of cis and trans isomers are seen in the region 550–395 cm.–1 Assignments have been made which have been confirmed, where possible, by comparison with the spectra of deuteriated species.
