Natural acetylenes. Part XXIV. The biological oxidation of dehydromatricarianol

Abstract

The culture fluid of Papulospora polyspora has been shown to contain a biological system specific for the oxidation of dehydromatricarianol, CH3·(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C)3·CH[graphic omitted]CH[double bond, length as m-dash]CH·CH2OH, to the corresponding acid.
