Gedunin and khivorin have both been converted into deacetoxy-7-oxoisogedunin. As the structure of gedunin has been confirmed by X-ray analysis this conversion supplies proof that the structure of khivorin previously proposed is correct. Several other transformation products of gedunin and khivorin are described.
