Polyene acids. Part VIII. The isomeric muconic diamides and mucononitriles
Abstract
The three geometrically isomeric muconic acids have been converted via their dimethyl esters to the corresponding diamides and thence dinitriles. Light absorption data and other evidence for the constitutions of these products are given.
