Strong base-induced transition-metal-free single electron transfer reactions mediated by amine species
Abstract
N-Centered electron-rich anions, as an important class of super electron donors, have been widely applied in challenging aromatization coupling reactions in recent years. Under specific conditions, these reagents can effectively replace traditional metal reagents, thereby significantly reducing environmental pollution risks. Since the concept of super electron donors was introduced, significant progress has been made in strong base-induced transition-metal-free single-electron transfer reactions triggered by amine species. This article systematically reviews the research progress in this field. The content is organized according to the structural types of amine derivatives, and future research directions in this field are also discussed.
