Abstract

Two novel classes of 6-membered nitrogen phosphorus heterocyclic carbene (NPHC) complexes arise from the insertion of methylene or imidogen units into one C–C bond of azaphospholylidene complexes via reactions with H2C[double bond, length as m-dash]PPh3 or LiN[double bond, length as m-dash]AsPh3, respectively.
