Photo-induced silylation cyclization of indole-tethered 1,6-enynes to access silylated pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole derivatives
Abstract
The photo-induced silylation cyclization of indole-tethered 1,6-enynes with tris(trimethylsilyl)silane/silylboronate was achieved to efficiently give various silylated pyrrolo[1,2-a]indoles with good selectivity/yields. Additionally, the HH-NOESY, scaled-up operation, and complex molecular derivatization were carried out to examine the skeleton and application of the final silylated fused cycles. Finally, radical inhibition/capture studies provided insight into the silylation pathway of this cascade system.
