The active sites for peroxydisulfate activation by N-doped carbon with zinc impurities

Abstract

The activity origin of N-doped porous carbon with Zn impurities for PDS activation was deciphered. It indicated that the Zn residuals were almost inactive for the reaction, while the graphitic N species served as primary active sites and the graphitic structures significantly enhanced the performance.
