Abstract

The reaction of Na_2−x{H}_x[Mo₆I₈(BTA)₆] with [tBuXPhos–Ag(OTf)(CH₃CN)] (tBuXPhos – 2-di-tert-butylphosphino-2′,4′,6′-triisopropylbiphenyl) leads to the strongly emissive solid heterometallic complex [Mo₆I₈(BTA–Ag(tBuXPhos))₆](OTf)₄.
