Photocatalytic synthesis of carbamo(dithioperoxo)thioates via a Z-scheme H2WO4/CsPbBr3 heterojunction

Abstract

A Z-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst integrating H2WO4 and CsPbBr3 is rationally designed for the mild photocatalytic synthesis of carbamo(dithioperoxo)thioates. This heterogeneous system drives three-component coupling of thiols, amines, and CS2 at ambient temperature using air as the sustainable oxidant, completely eliminating stoichiometric chemical oxidants. The enhanced photocatalytic performance stems from the efficient charge separation and migration enabled by H2WO4 nanosheets, which suppress charge recombination and promote the generation of reactive oxygen species (˙O2).
