In situ construction of ZnP2/CuP2 heterojunction for efficient nitrate-to-ammonia electroreduction
Abstract
A ZnP2/CuP2 composite catalyst with abundant heterointerfaces was constructed, exhibiting a tandem synergistic effect between ZnP2 and CuP2 sites and their interfacially modulated electronic interactions, promoting a favorable NO3−-to-NH3 reaction pathway. By optimizing the proportion of active sites, a remarkable NH3 yield of 46.3 mg h−1 mgcat−1 and a high Faraday efficiency of 98.5% were achieved.
