Reversible pH-responsive switching of strong circularly polarized luminescence in polysaccharide-templated co-assemblies

Abstract

Carboxymethyl chitosan functions as a chiral template to induce the helical packing of achiral dyes via electrostatic interaction, enabling efficient chirality transfer and strong circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with a relatively high g_lum. The chiral co-assemblies exhibit reversible pH-responsive CPL switching.
