Stabilizing CuTCNQ cathodes in sulfide-based all-solid-state organic lithium batteries via a fluoroiodinated molecular modifier
Abstract
A fluoroiodinated molecular modifier, C6F13I, is introduced to stabilize the CuTCNQ/Li6PS5Cl interface in sulfide-based all-solid-state organic lithium batteries. Its electrochemical activation generates a conformal LiF/LiI/organofluorinated interphase, suppressing electrolyte decomposition, preserving Li+ transport, and markedly improving the rate capability and cycling stability of the CuTCNQ cathode.
