Abstract

A stimuli-fluorochromic metal–organic framework was constructed by encapsulating solvatochromic dyes within its framework. The spatially confined dyes exhibit remarkably enhanced luminescence efficiency while preserving their dynamic multi-color emission from the solution state, thereby greatly boosting their potential for practical applications.
