Pore-wall pyridine-N density regulation in covalent organic frameworks for enhanced gold capture
Abstract
Pore-wall pyridine-N density regulation in quinoline-linked covalent organic frameworks (COFs) markedly enhances gold capture. COF-Q-Pz with the highest pyridine-N density achieves the highest adsorption capacity of 2512.2 mg g−1 and excellent selectivity to gold. It performs effectively in real CPU leachate, highlighting a practical strategy for gold recovery from e-waste.
