Revealing the synergistic effect of Cu–Cu2S during urea electrosynthesis

Abstract

The adsorptions of CO2 on Cu(0), NO3 on Cu(I) and H+ on S atoms, revealed by in situ Raman spectroscopy and ICOHP theoretical calculation, synergistically contribute to robust urea electrosynthesis by Cu–Cu2S.
