Fluoride-free synthesis of large-pore ITQ-27 aluminosilicate zeolite with a tunable composition and enhanced methanol-to-propylene performance

Abstract

Fluoride-free synthesis of large-pore ITQ-27 (IWV) aluminosilicate zeolite is achieved via rational design of a tris(diethylamino)phosphine-based organic structure-directing agent (OSDA) guided by DFT calculations. Phase-pure ITQ-27 with tunable Si/Al ratios is obtained within a short crystallization time and exhibits good catalytic performance in methanol-to-propylene reactions.
