In situ anchored silver nanoparticles in porous organic polymers for efficient CO2 cyclization with propargylic alcohols
Abstract
A green one-pot synthetic strategy to anchor silver nanoparticles within porous organic polymers (POPs) has been developed. The resultant heterogeneous Ag/POP catalyst facilitates highly efficient carboxylative cyclization of CO2 with propargylic alcohols under mild conditions, affording α-alkylidene cyclic carbonates in high yields. The catalyst demonstrates excellent stability and recyclability, showcasing a sustainable approach to CO2 utilization.
