Facet ratio engineering of CuO dictates C2+ product selectivity in CO2 electroreduction
Abstract
Three CuO catalysts (denoted as CuO-1, CuO-2 and CuO-3) with different (111) to (11−1) facet ratios were fabricated for CO2 electroreduction. Among them, CuO-2 with a balanced (111)/(11−1) facet ratio manifests the highest faradaic efficiency (73.2%) toward C2+ products.
