Bidirectional electronic modulation between active sites and the support for synergistically enhanced alkaline hydrogen evolution
Abstract
This work presents a bidirectional modification strategy to maximize Pt utilization for the alkaline HER. The ZrP/Pt catalyst rivals 20% Pt/C in activity, sustains over 200 h at −250 mA cm−2, and achieves a high mass activity of 10.62 A mgPt−1 at −0.1 V. This offers a promising design principle for low-Pt electrocatalysts.
