Intrinsic oxygen vacancy synergistic Co sites rapidly regulate electron transfer for efficient activation of peroxymonosulfate
Abstract
Co5(O9.48H8.52)NO3 nanohybrids with abundant intrinsic oxygen vacancies (CACNs) were synthesized for efficient PMS activation toward water purification. The surface Ov–Co active sites enable the rapid adsorption of PMS, thereby accelerating interfacial electron transfer and facilitating the generation of reactive oxygen species.
