Excitation-wavelength-dependent emission of a luminescent host–guest Zn(ii) metal–organic framework for high-performance white LEDs

Abstract

This work presents a novel luminescent host–guest Zn(II) metal–organic framework (CNU-404) with blue-light-excitable excitation-wavelength-dependent emission. It serves as a blue–cyan–green tri-color phosphor, enabling white LEDs upon blue-chip excitation, achieving an ultrahigh CRI (Ra 95.7), and offering a new strategy to address the “cyan gap” challenge in solid-state lighting.
