Revealing grain dependent glucose oxidation pathways on gold with scanning electrochemical cell microscopy

Abstract

Correlative scanning electrochemical cell microscopy (SECCM) and electron backscatter diffraction, applied separately at identical locations on polycrystalline gold, reveal grain-dependent nanoscale glucose oxidation reaction (GOR) activity.
