Tuning the performance of zinc hexacyanoferrate cathodes via ferrocyanide/ferricyanide precursor selection for high-efficiency zinc-ion storage
Abstract
Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) are promising zinc-ion battery cathodes. This study synthesized ZnHCF using Na4[Fe(CN)6], K3[Fe(CN)6], and K4[Fe(CN)6] precursors. K3[Fe(CN)6]-derived ZnHCF exhibited minimal water/alkali residue and superior cyclability (70.5% retention after 800 cycles), providing insights for optimizing PBAs-based cathodes.
