Boosting the photocatalytic performance of BiVO4via plasmonic AgCu alloy engineering
Abstract
This study develops a plasmonic AgCu alloy modified BiVO4 photocatalyst. The AgCu alloy synergistically modulates the work function and enhances light absorption, facilitating efficient electron transfer and charge separation. This results in significantly improved photocatalytic activity for organic pollutant degradation compared to pristine BiVO4.
