A new pillared-layer triazolato-carbonate metal–organic framework (MOF) was synthesized. This readily accessible ultramicroporous MOF showed good CO2 uptake. Intrigued by its relatively hydrophobic nature, we have investigated its capability for humid CO2 capture processes.
