Abstract

Correction for ‘Tumor-triggered personalized microRNA cocktail therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma’ by Shiyi Shao et al., Biomater. Sci., 2020, 8, 6579–6591, https://doi.org/10.1039/D0BM00794C.

The authors regret an error in Fig. 2a and in Fig. S3c.

In Fig. 2a the incorrect image was used for Huh7 Lipo3000/miRFAM+ and the corrected figure is shown here.

Fig. 1 PCACP mediated cellular uptake and transfection both in vitro and in vivo. (A) Confocal images of naked miR199FAM+, PCACP/miR199FAM+ pre-incubated at pH 6.5 or pH 7.4, PCAP/miR199FAM+, and Lipo3000/miR199FAM+ after 4 h of incubation in HEK 293 and Huh 7 cells. miRNA was labeled with FAM (green). Cytomembrane was stained with Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugates of wheat germ agglutinin (red), while the nucleus was stained with DAPI (blue). The bar represents 20 μm.

In Fig. S3c the incorrect image was used for PCAP/VecGFP+ pH 6.5 and the corrected figure is shown here.

Fig. S3c Overlapped images of bright field and fluorescent photo of HEK 293 and Huh 7 cells after transfection with naked plasmids, and plasmids loaded PCACP (pH 6.5 and pH 7.4), PCAP and Lipo3000 for 48 h. The plasmid vectors encoded GFP fluorescence (VecGFP+). The bar represents 20 μm. Representative images in 3 replicates.

An independent expert has viewed the corrected figures and confirmed that they are consistent with the discussions and conclusions presented.

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
