Multifunctional Au@ZIF-8/Fe nanomedicines for ferroptosis-induced therapy in triple-negative breast cancer

Abstract

Au@ZIF-8/Fe nanomedicine induces ferroptosis in 4T1 tumor cells by enhancing ROS generation and LPO through the Fenton reaction. Its disruption of the GPX4 pathway underscores its potential as an effective anticancer therapy.
