Abstract

The novel Sc-containing polyoxoniobate, H16.5K9Na16.5[Sc3(Nb7O22)(Nb14O42)3]·115.5H2O, has been successfully synthesized. It exhibits a unique heptameric structure and demonstrates catalytic activity towards the Knoevenagel condensation reaction, along with broad substrate compatibility.
