In situ separable and recyclable copper-loaded catalytic ceramic membrane: development and application in the conjugated borylation of α,β-unsaturated ketones

Abstract

A recyclable and robust copper-loaded ceramic catalytic membrane is reported for the first time. In the flow-through conjugated borylation of α,β-unsaturated ketones, the as-fabricated ceramic membrane demonstrated high activity without the use of alkali. Its consistent catalytic activity in 50 cycles and multi-gram-scale synthesis further proved its high recyclability and stability. Notably, the corresponding copper-loaded ceramic membrane tube was also developed for application in the conjugated borylation over 25 cycles.
