Polarity-sensitive fluorescent probes based on imidazopyridazine derivatives for imaging lung cancer tissues†
Abstract
Two polarity-responsive probes, 1a and 1b, were prepared via Suzuki coupling. These probes targeted mitochondria and lipid droplets, respectively, enabling the monitoring of polarity changes. Probes 1a and 1b could indicate the difference between lung cancer tissues with different degrees of cellular differentiation, exhibiting fluorescence intensities that were 6.9–7.3-fold and 2.3–2.5-fold higher in poorly differentiated tissues than in highly and moderately differentiated tissues, respectively.
