Continuous flow fabrication of metal organic framework capillary gas chromatographic column

Abstract

For the first time, a continuous-flow method was employed for the fabrication of MOF-coated GC capillary columns, enabling uniform and reproducible coatings with enhanced separation efficiency. Compared to conventional methods, this approach significantly reduces fabrication time, improves column performance, and accommodates a variety of MOFs—offering a scalable and robust platform for advancing GC with tunable, high-performance stationary phases.
