A dendrite growth-suppressing Li composite anode decorated with lithiophilic Li–Pb alloys for stable Li metal batteries†
Abstract
A lithium-rich lithium–lead alloy-based composite electrode, featuring Li22Pb5 microparticles dispersed in lithium metal, is fabricated by mechanical rolling to suppress the growth of lithium dendrites. The lithiophilic Li–Pb alloys can facilitate a uniform lithium plating process, resulting in impressive cycling stability of both symmetric and full cells.
