The authors also wish to provide a clear explanation for Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. The images in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 were all taken under the same experimental conditions. Specifically, the images depicting the blank and erastin groups in Fig. 4A were utilized to illustrate that erastin-induced ferroptosis could lead to a reduction in GSH, and that in Fig. 5A were employed to demonstrate the inhibitory effects of the compounds (VE, DHLA and rutin) on ferroptosis.
