Correction for ‘Understanding the suppressive role of catalytically active Pt–TiO2 interfacial sites of supported metal catalysts towards complete oxidation of toluene’ by Hanlei Sun et al., J. Mater. Chem. A, 2022, 10, 25633–25643, https://doi.org/10.1039/D2TA07555E.
There was an error in the paragraph beginning “The influence of the Pt–TiO2 interface on the catalytic properties was […]” (p. 25636). The corrected sentences are copied below:
“…… at 143 °C. The temperatures for 50% and 90% toluene conversion (denoted T50 and T90) were obtained with the fitted light-off curve. The temperatures for 50% conversion over Pt/TiO2-2.7 nm, Pt/TiO2-6.3 nm, and Pt/TiO2-12.4 nm catalysts go from 121 °C to 129 °C, whereas the temperatures for 90% conversion go from 134 °C to 142 °C.”
Additionally, in Table 1 (p. 25637) “TOFPt” should be “TOFPt”.
Finally, “co-drifts” (line 22, column 1, p. 25638; in the sentence beginning “Thus, the only sources of oxygen ...”) should be “CO-DRIFTS”, and “Ptintf” (line 48, column 2, p. 25638; in the sentence beginning “On the other hand, as for...”) should be “Pts”.
The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
